hubby ( whos 23 stone) did a littel cooky surfing type dance on top of it and so did janey and john and there wasnt a budge out of it. Up uprights have 4 screws into them and the cuts a perfectly square and thank god there was not a wobbel.I would alway be the one to over build. iam very sure its solid enought. especially after shane danced on it! :lol:
i did think that it needed cross suport or at least bracing. but when it was altogether it was so solid. the back piece is .5 cm and is screwd into it, also the center shelve creates a solid structure to the center of the piece so Iam kinda happy with the structure.its way more solid then any tank stand in a shop made with mdf or venereerd chip board. i think most are very flimsy.
the olnly thing i would have concers over it the wood warping with moisture.
the whole thing must now be taken apart fine sanded and varnished a number of times equal...

Sitting by my tank late last night I noticed a small hitch hiker crab carefully stripping polops of some of my sps frags.

Its now an ex crab.

I have the dosing schedule for Calcium, Magnesium and Alkalinity running now. The phosphates were high (3ppm) so looked at the system to see how I could lower this. I noticed a couple of issues.

I collected the tank last week after 2 trips. First time the tank didn't fit in my car. Had to go back with a jeep. Have plumbing setup. Found it somewhat hard to find some pieces such as PVC valves so...
