Forum hacked?

Postby apistodiscus on 31 Oct 2012 21:06

Came across a couple of threads where words like diet and date were underlined and if you put your little arrow on them a pop up would appear to lead you to another website. Does anybody else experience the issue? Just ran a system check for malware, viruses, etc. on my PC but all clear. Same on my work laptop that runs on a different network

Dosn't happen for me Holger(nor do the diets). That word is just normal.

Seems to be an issue with the latest version of Firefox. Older version does not have that issue.
Malwarebytes is an OK enough freeware but I am using somewhat more high end stuff. It does help to work for an IT company that has a security division

not really a risk but a pain if you are new to the forum and not aware about the vulnerability of the latest Firefox version. I have sent them an email
