No I have the tank nearly 12 months. More Invertebrates to come ie: snails, crabs maybe shrimps. Fish list possible Royal Grammas. Another wave maker and new hood with more modern lighting set up. Would love anemone for my clowns down the line.

Hi

Running a freshwater tank 55x30x24" tank - 670L or so
Run by an fx5 & 405 filter.

Just changed the look of the tank today, so water hasn't settled yet. Need to pick up some new additions.
Have a Heros notatus needs a partner again, also a lonely female sajica. Some plecs, catfish, Colombian red fun tetras too. Nice peaceful tank atm.

Hi all, I'm new around here but have been a regular on the boards.ie aquarium section for a few years... I'm keeping freshwater for about 7 years now (if you include the early golfish-murdering months of total ignorance). I have an 180l Rio freshwater community tank (will take some photos one of these days) and have been running this Nano marine tank since the start of February. [Build Thread]

Image
Nano Reef: Rekord 96l: Clownfish, 2 Bengai Cardinals, Fireball Angel, Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, 2 Clibanarius Hermits, Sea Urchin

Freshwater: 180l Rio: 7 Ember Tetras, 3 Scarlet Tetras, 1 Glowlight Tetra, 3 Gold Doubloon Mollies, 5 Platys, 1 Zebra Danio, 4 White Cloud Minnows, Albino Pleco

What type of tank do you have Marine/Fresh ?
Cold Freshwater

What is the volume of tank?
12L/3.17G

Do you use RO water describe unit?
Nope.

What filtration do you use External, Internal, Liverock Mechanical, Skimmer, Phosphate reactor, Calcium Reactor, Kalk stirrer?
Its an internal unit in the back of the tank. All I know is that it uses mechanical, bio and chemical filtration. Its one of those tanks with the self-contained filter, pump and light.

What pumps do you use and what flow rate is within your tank?
Not a notion.

What other equipment do you use?
Nothing! (I'm new to the hobby and horrifically basic)

What lighting do you use T8, T5, Metal Halides?
White LEDs?

What is your lighting duration?
8 Hours of daylight.

What fish do you keep with brief stock list?
5 White Cloud Mountain Minnows (3 Females, 2 Males)
(I'm overstocked but fear not, I plan to upgrade to a 75L/20G)

What Inverts do you keep with brief stock list?
Two Pond Snails, soon to be hundreds :? They hitchhiked in on my Elodea Canadensis.

What is your water parameters NH4, NO2, NO3, PO4, PH, KH, CA, MG?
Again, no clue. I'm buying a liquid test kit soon. I do a 1-2L waterchange every day and use a pipette to suction up excess food and waste.

Finally post a picture of your tank

Tell me more about your Vinegar dosing. I'm dosing it to, just trying to get the "sweet spot" dosage per day.

I'm at 80ml per day dosing trough a doser. It's a bit more than yours but i suppose every system is different.
Love your tank buy the way...
