sorry to put it like this but Flowerhorns should never have been created. Please don't take this personal but I hate hybrids such as flowerhorns and parrots. There are an awful lot of breeders out there who try to breed species true and then you get people hybridizing them on purpose. Not surprisingly our friends in the Far East came up with them. Their other atrocities include balloon fish, dyed fish, fish with no tail fins, long finned jobs, the list goes on and on. Fortunately they seem to be disappearing because they grow too big and aggressive. Some years back you had to pay hundreds for a single fish, now you get them for very little money
the grass is always greener on the other side because it is fertilized with bullshit

I don't keep flowerhorns (for much the reason put forward by Apistodiscus.....although I would admit that the flowerhorns are one of the nicer looking hybrids).

But we have a couple of arowanas (Scleropages jardinii and Osteoglossum.....but not in the same tank mind).

Do you keep them Dino? or scouting for some info?
