Glad to see this happening more and more, I have took a similar approach with my own corals in the aquarium in the pass with some success..

Good point nige.
It's a good video too, it sets the bar for colour and growth. I wonder if this kind of growth is possible in a closed system. I would love to see some time lapse photos of aquarium corals.

its not quite time laps but if you look at my blog on my last reef tank you will see pics over time of how i continually fraged my corals in a similar way as shown in the youtube video and i think it shows how you can get a more natural look using this method and i think the colours are half decent too considering no zeovits or bio pellets were used...

Just go to the top of this page and click board index, then scroll down to members blogs, then when there scroll down to coolreefs new reef tank...and you have it..
