SPS Frags in Quarantine

Postby liam on 03 Nov 2014 12:21

I setup my hospital/quarantine tank to hold some CUC and SPS frags (acro and birds nest) while I was finishing off dosing Ultra AlgeaX (the first round wiped out my CUC and my milka/stylo and plating montis are looking very unhappy).

I just re-read the instructions and it says for algae other than Dino to dose 15 times (each dose is 2 days appart). So instead of the frags being in QT for 5 days they are going to be in there for 15.

The QT tank is an old freshwater tank with freshwater T8 bulb. Would they survive two weeks in poor light of the wrong wavelengths or should I give them to a friend to put in his DT for me until the dosing is complete?

Thanks,

--Liam.

Thanks Keith, I'll move them to a friend's tank.
