Personally I would try to remove it. Some are harmless and others are a disaster.
Ask Billy Ocean how much damage one of these small Crabs can do.

don't even go there, it started with the hic-cups, then a stammer, his hair fell out and he developed a limp, not long after that it rained and his car got nicked, he lost his winning lotto ticket and finaly as if that was not bad enough anto swore his undying love for him..........and all this happened two days after introducing what was supposed to be a harmless crab................ coincidence... i don't think so.
get the crab out

There was a small Crab on one of his Plated Montis and it gradually ate most of the Algae from the Coral.
This white patch kept getting bigger and bigger until Paul stabbed the little bugger with a knife..

Buy some of that Coral RX stuff and dip your sps in it for 5 or so mins. You'd be amazed by all the little bastards that come out of it. Last time I used it a wee crab came out of the coral as well.

I recently got an acro with a little crab in it and thought it might be harmless however two days later he was outa there and as Anto said I had a very large monti and A tiny crab decided to munch away at it I nicknamed him a lawnmower crab   to get him out I had to remove the Monti and Pull him by the claws the little hairy crab.

I tend to remove anything I can altough still yet to try the new dip.
